There are scenic picnic and braai spots overlooking the dam. Many of our smaller rescued residents roam free within the beautiful gardens. 

Guided tours of the sanctuary are available. Walks with our Waggley Tail Club rescued dogs can also be booked in advance. Educational school outings are also available.

Twala is a haven for wild birds and boasts magnificent indigenous trees and pristine African bushveld.
